Does your family life feel out of control? Do you feel that you aren’t able to manage your child or teen’s behavior, sometimes resulting in you not being able to manage your reactions? Do you feel guilty, ashamed possibly question yourself as a parent? Children’s minds are incredibly amazing and capable of listening and following through, but we aren’t always able to see it or allow them to show it.
You are not helpless, don’t go through these feelings alone. Together we can explore ways to improve not only your children’s behavior, but your reactions and feelings as well. If this is you and your family, you may benefit from group counseling options for families.
Together, let’s stop the cycle and start improving your family life today.
To open up and share with new people can feel scary at first, but group therapy, or family therapy, can provide many benefits that you may not be able to get from individual counseling.
Groups can provide you with a support network and a sounding board. Group members can help you deal with a specific situation or challenge, while holding you accountable. You may feel that you are the only one dealing with a certain situation or issue and a group can help you see that you are not. A group allows you to hear what others are going through.
It’s often a relief to feel and see that you are not alone. A group setting allows you to talk openly about your struggles with others who are dealing with similar situations. You likely do not openly talk to people you are not close with about your issues, but a group setting can bring many new and different perspectives, ideas and strategies for facing your concerns as well as enabling you to learn from one another on how to tackle tough situations and how to make and maintain positive changes.
Oh yeah! Almost forgot to mention… we can write emotional support animal letters for your pets!
Animals have been providing comfort to their owners long before Emotional Support Animals became a title given to a companion animal. Any animal lover could easily explain the benefits that their pet provides to their wellbeing. With studies showing the mental health benefits that animals can bring to their owners the need for emotional support animal letters continues to rise. Emotional support animals are typically dogs, but sometimes cats or other animals. These animals help with a range of physical, psychiatric or intellectual disabilities. An animal does not need specific training to become an emotional support animal.
Once counseling is initiated and emotional/mental health problem areas are identified as well as the benefits your support animal brings a letter can be provided to you. This can ensure that you continue to receive the support and benefit of your emotional support animal in all necessary environments.
