What does “living your best life” look like to you?
Does it mean you will be running a 6-figure-a-year business in the next 5 years?
Improving the quality of your relationships?
Feeling mentally and physically strong?
“Living your best life” looks different to all of us.
Living your best life is defined by each individual. It is in the eye of the beholder.
One of the master skills for creating the best life is learning the science behind achievement and the art behind fulfillment.
There is a science to mastering the ability of what you want in life and making it real.
I watched Tony Robbins give a speech once- and his message resonated with me.
I continue to teach the message to my clients because this message is one that not only made complete sense, but also helped me get to where I am today.
His message was:
Just as there is a science to the human body, there is a science to building achievement.
Everyone is made up biochemically different.
(Just as our goals are different and our vision of what “living our best lives” looks like is different.)
Stay with me, here.
But there are certain rules and laws that we are expected to abide by and if we violate them, we will feel diseased. We will feel discomfort.
If you abide by the laws of the body, you will feel strong. You will feel energized.
If you violate the laws and rules of the body, you will not feel or perform your best.
Just like there is a science to the human body, there is a science to building achievement.
There are actually rules and guidelines already established out there for building achievement. Can you believe it?
Now, if we follow these rules- we will see success. And there are many people out there who have mastered the science of building achievement.
But I’m sure you know as many people as I do, or have at least heard stories about people who exude success but are ultimately unhappy.
How many rich people do you know that are still unhappy? How many stories have you heard of celebrities being depressed or trying to fill the void with substances?
Countless.
Here’s the kicker, friends:
The science of achievement is nothing without the art of fulfillment.
It is an art to be able to turn success into something that brings you fulfillment.
Remember this. I am going to say it again because this needs to be drilled into your mind if you are someone who is looking to bring true success and fulfillment into your life.
It is an art to be able to turn success into something that brings you fulfillment.
Success without fulfillment is the ultimate failure.
Have you ever achieved a goal that you wanted SO MUCH and worked very hard to achieve- and finally got there and said to yourself, “Ok, is this it?”
Have you thought to yourself, “There’s got to be more than this?”
If you’ve ever been to the end of the road and thought these questions, YOU understand that the ultimate goal is not to live a successful life, it is to lead a fulfilled life.
So when looking at your goals and dreams, your first step to planning a fulfilled life is to ‘understand your why.’
Why do you want to achieve these goals?
I work through a Goals Mapping Worksheet with my clients to help them ‘understand their why’ at the very beginning stages of the life coaching process.
In honor of my new program launching, I am giving away my Goals Mapping Worksheet for free. I am doing this because I strongly believe in the power of the activity.
This worksheet will help you get a handle on those goals and understand your “why” before you start mapping out the stages on how to achieve them.
Download the ($60 value- but truthfully priceless) Goals Mapping Worksheet for FREE here.
